Ms. Hoke is Florida Bar Board Certified in Construction Law, and primarily represents developers, general contractors, subcontractors and sureties. Ms. Hoke graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Florida State University in 1991, and graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from The Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1996.

Ms. Hoke served as senior attorney at the Florida House of Representatives, and was later appointed by Governor Jeb Bush to serve on the Construction Industry Licensing Board for the State of Florida from 2002-2003.  In 2009 she was appointed by the Palm Beach County Commissioners and currently serves on the Construction Industry Licensing Board for Palm Beach County.  In 2011, Ms. Hoke was elected to the Board of Directors of the National Association of Women in Construction, and also serves on the Florida Bar Liability Insurance and Surety Committee, and Palm Beach County Bar Association Construction Law Committee.  Ms. Hoke co-authored Expert Witnesses, Florida Construction Law and Practice, 5th Ed., and Pleadings, Florida Civil Practice Before Trial, 8th Ed., and has lectured at seminars on several legal issues pertaining to lien law and suretyship

Ms. Hoke is a member of the Northern, Middle, and Southern U.S. District Courts of Florida and has also served as a member of the Craig S. Barnard Chapter of the American Inns of Court.  Personally, Ms. Hoke enjoys outdoor activities including kayaking and bike riding.
