Patrick J. Casey is a cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees. Mr. Casey also holds a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Miami.
He has been Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Business Litigation since 1996. His law practice concentrates in the areas of business litigation, business transactions, real estate, and tax law. Mr. Casey is admitted to practice in all Florida state and federal courts.
For over six (6) years Mr. Casey has been named by the South Florida Legal Guide as a “Top Lawyer” in both Business Litigation and Commercial Transactions. He has been recognized as a Florida “Super Lawyer” and a Top Attorney in Florida as published by the Wall Street Journal (2011). Mr. Casey is an AV-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. He has been a member of the Florida Justice Association since 1974, the American Association for Justice since 1982, and the American Board of Trial Advocates since 1992.
Since establishing his practice in Palm Beach County in 1974, Mr. Casey has been a board member and officer of numerous community organizations, including the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, the Palm Beach County Sports Commission, the Palm Beach County Bicentennial Constitution Commission, the Law Enforcement Assistance Foundation, and both the Palm Beach County and Florida Associations of Retarded Citizens. He has an exceptional record of service to the legal profession having served as president of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, director of the Florida Bar Foundation, member of the Florida Bar's executive committee, its board of governors and as member or chairman of more than a dozen other committees of The Florida Bar.
